This full-scale renovation was a complete gut, taking the home down to its structural bones and rebuilding it from the inside out. Every surface and system was thoughtfully reimagined to create a cohesive, elevated living space. The design direction embraced a transitional style, blending clean, timeless lines with modern sophistication.

A soft neutral color palette sets a calm foundation throughout the home, layered with striking black and gold accents for contrast and visual interest. The project included all new paint, flooring, kitchens, and bathrooms, along with fully updated tile selections and finishes. Each space was carefully curated to feel refined yet livable, balancing warmth with modern edge.

From top to bottom, the home was completely refinished, resulting in a fresh, polished transformation that feels both classic and current.

Inverness Family Room Makeover

Family Room Makeover — Light, Cozy, and Elevated Design

This family room transformation by JGib Interiors focused on creating a lighter, more inviting atmosphere while maintaining warmth and sophistication.

Heavy draperies were removed and replaced with light sheer drapery panels that extend to the ceiling and are elegantly concealed behind custom crown molding. The standard wood blinds were swapped for Hunter Douglas Pirouette shades, offering versatile light control and the ability to set different moods throughout the day.

The brick fireplace was refaced with stacked stone and paneled molding, extending to the ceiling to create height, texture, and visual interest while brightening the overall space. A new soft, light-toned carpet adds comfort underfoot and balances the darker wall color, which enhances drama and makes the tall-ceilinged room feel cozy and intimate.

To complete the update, separate sofas were replaced with a custom sectional and oversized lounge chair, creating the perfect spot for family gatherings, reading, or relaxing.

This family room redesign showcases how thoughtful material choices, lighting control, and space planning can transform a traditional space into a refined yet comfortable retreat.

Luxury Kitchen Remodel with Custom Amish Cabinetry and Quartzite Countertops

This luxury kitchen remodel combines timeless craftsmanship with high-end materials for a space that feels both elegant and functional.

The design features handcrafted Amish kitchen cabinets, known for their exceptional quality and durability. A custom Sonoma Tile backsplash and hand-painted artisan tile in the bar area bring a unique, personalized touch and add texture and color to the overall design.

To complement the custom cabinetry, we incorporated Kohler kitchen fixtures for reliable performance and style, along with Visual Comfort light fixtures to provide layered, designer lighting that enhances both task and ambient illumination.

The existing red oak hardwood floors were professionally refinished and re-stained to mute the warm red tones, creating a cohesive foundation for the new design palette.

The kitchen island features a natural quartzite countertop, offering durability and organic beauty, while the perimeter countertops use a coordinating quartz surface for a clean, modern contrast. Together, they balance texture and tone for a sophisticated, cohesive look.

This remodel highlights the perfect blend of custom cabinetry, luxury finishes, and functional kitchen design — creating a warm, inviting space ideal for everyday living and entertaining.

Deer Park Main Floor Refresh

This living room refresh transformed an unfinished farmhouse space into a gorgeous, modern, and chic retreat. The design reimagined the room with clean lines and elevated details while maintaining a warm, inviting atmosphere. This complete main floor update reimagined every space—from the powder room and kitchen to the dining, living, family room, breakfast nook, and office—creating a seamless and highly curated transformation. The design reflects what’s popular and timeless right now, blending warmth, softness, and modern appeal through a transitional style.

Natural wood cabinetry anchors the design, bringing organic texture and depth, while creamy paint tones create a light, inviting backdrop throughout the main level. Thoughtful pops of green were layered in to add freshness and a connection to nature, giving each space its own personality while maintaining cohesion across the floor plan.

This complete basement remodel transformed a new build’s unfinished concrete shell into a fully realized living space designed for comfort, function, and gathering. Every square foot was intentionally planned to create a warm, inviting extension of the home with a traditional, rustic aesthetic.

This basement remodel elevated the lower level into a functional, thoughtfully designed living space tailored for both relaxation and entertainment. A new fireplace was added to the family room, creating a warm focal point and anchoring the space with comfort and style.

A standout feature of the remodel is the custom gamer office, designed with a built-in desk and mounted monitors. To maintain a clean, streamlined look, all wiring was concealed within the walls using a PVC conduit system, allowing the space to feel organized, modern, and intentionally designed.

The bar area was refreshed to better serve entertaining needs, and the project was completed with carefully curated accessories that add personality and cohesion throughout the basement.

Inverness

JGib Interiors remodeled and updated this traditional home in Inverness to lighter and brighter colors and more updated traditional pieces.  We removed the Dark Paint and Red toned woods.  Faux painted the moldings to remove the orange tones and lighten to more updated champagne colors.  All while keeping the traditional feel of the home.
