ABOUT US

Design has always been my passion. After completing my design degree from Carnegie Mellon and securing two patents under my name with Alcoa and 3M. I searched for a useful outlet to express my design ideas and create spaces on an individual level. I began my career with Littman Lighting Bros in 2008. I have always viewed lighting as the jewelry to a home.

Lighting has made huge strides in design and the possibilities are really endless. I demonstrate mastery of lighting types and styles. We work with over one hundred lighting manufactures. These decisions can be difficult and over whelming. My ambition to reflect a specific persons design is constant. Most people also tend to glass over one of the most imperative factor in determining the correct light. That factor is size! To help, I offer in-home consultation or blueprint review (should the home be under construction).

Shortly after starting at Littman, in 2010, JGIB Interiors was born. Not only do I help my clients express their personal style though lighting, I have taken on projects that encompass an entire floor of a home, full kitchen and bath remodels, and all the way down to just selecting the right paint colors for a client. A project can be can be as big or small as my client desires.

Now, with over a decade in home design, JGIB Interiors has grown and started taking on commercial projects. These projects have spanned from restaurants to hotel ballrooms. This allows me the unique opportunity to unleash my creativity and as a result, the finished products are on display for the masses to enjoy!

Raised in the Lake of the Ozarks region of Missouri, Amber brings a warm, grounded perspective to every project she takes on. After completing her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, she continued her education in Columbia, Missouri, where she earned her Communication Degree — a combination that strengthened both her creative intuition and her ability to connect meaningfully with clients.

Amber has spent the last three years working alongside Jennifer, honing her design skills and contributing to a wide range of projects across the Chicagoland area. Known for her natural eye for aesthetics, attention to detail, and ability to translate inspiration into cohesive, functional spaces, she approaches each project with a balance of creativity, clarity, and intention.

Outside of her design work, Amber enjoys life with her husband and their three dogs, who make home wonderfully lively. Whether she’s exploring new trends, collaborating with clients, or refining her design approach, Amber is continually inspired by the way thoughtful design brings comfort, style, and personality into everyday living.
